akaironman:

As they walked, Tony glanced around them idly, his thumb brushing against her hip. Once the doctor had left the room, Tony took a seat, tilting his head as  he looked over at her. “Then we’ll deal with that. We’ll be okay, sweetheart. We’ll just have to… buy double everything.”

She nodded, “We have the money to.” she said as she undressed and slipped into her hospital gown before sitting on the exam table. Leaning back she reached for his hand, “Come stand with me.” she said wanting the comfort of him close to her.

akaironman:

Tony smiled as she took his hand, his fingers linking with hers. When they were greeted by the doctor, Tony offered him a smile, reaching forward to shake his hand as he let go of Bri’s hand to wrap his arm around her waist. “Pleasure to meet you too, Doc.”

“The office is just this way.” he said leading them towards an office.

Brianna walked alongside Tony, exchanging small talk with the doctor as he lead them towards an exam room. “Alright, if you could go ahead and get changed, I will be right back.” he told her. Brianna stepped away and changed into the hospital gown.

“What if there are twins.”

akaironman:

“I do too, gorgeous. And I’m sure they are— I mean, you’ve been being careful which means they’re gonna be fine.” He smiled, pulling up outside the doctor’s surgery  He leaned over, pressing a soft kiss to her lips before hopping out of the car to walk around and open her door for her.

She nodded, and kissed him back. She stood up and stepped out of the car. Brianna reached over taking Tony’s hand in hers. There were moments of affection she spared only for him, to show how much she loved him. She walked inside, and they were greeted by the doctor. Despite the fact that they were indoors he wore sunglasses, “Afternoon Pieter.” she said with a nod, “This is Tony Stark. My husband.”

He nodded, “It’s a pleasure Mr. Stark.”

akaironman:

“Okay.” He nodded, smiling over at her. “You feeling okay about this?” He asked, reaching over to squeeze her hand softly before moving his hand back to the wheel.

She looked over at him, “Yes.” she replied squeezing his hand gently. “It’s logical that I would be nervous, after all I want the doctor appointment to go well.” she glanced down at her stomach and back at him a small smile touching her lips. “I want our kids or kid to be healthy.”

akaironman:

He glanced over at her for a moment before looking back at the road, tapping  a thumb gently against the wheel. He was nervous, but he was trying not to show it. He didn’t want to panic about anything, he wanted to be supportive.

“He’s meeting us at Gotham General.” she said, “Dr. Thompkins may also show up, though she’s typically busy at the clinic downtown.” she said as she opened her eyes and glanced over at him, seemingly much calmer.

akaironman:

“Me too, beautiful.” He murmured, kissing her temple before starting the engine, pulling away.

Brianna nodded before leaning back in her seat, and closing her eyes. She focused on the sound of her breathing, meditative calming techniques she had learned long ago would help slow her heart rate.

akaironman:

“Hey— It’ll be okay.” He smiled, walking around the car to climb into the driver’s seat. “We’ll be okay, honey.”

“I’ll just feel better once the doctor’s appointment is over.” she said folding her hands in her lap.

akaironman:

“I am.” He nodded, leading her to the car where he pulled the passenger door opened. “Are you?”

“Yes.” she said as she slipped in the car and buckled up. “It feels the beginning of being fear toxed”

akaironman:

-He smiled- We won’t be. Come on, beautiful.

She walked with him, brushing a hand through her hair, “Are you nervous?”
